WWMT 3 - Michigan educators hold climate change summit

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Educators across the state are getting a chance to learn more about the impact of climate change Wednesday, June 12.
Grand Valley State University is holding a summit to teach educators about possible threats and solutions so they can prepare the next generation.
About 160 K-12 educators will join together to learn how their lesson plans can include climate change education.
The summit starts at 8:30 a.m. and goes until 4:30 p.m.
It's being held in the Kirkhof Center on Grand Valley's Allendale campus.
K-12 educators will receive six Michigan’s State continuing education
clock hours for attending this event.
