Engineering Science Minor

Requirements for a Minor in Engineering Science

The minor in engineering science requires a minimum GPA of 2.0 in required and elective courses (33 credit hours) as follows.

Required Courses

*EGR 108 is the second course of a stretch sequence alternative to EGR 112 and has prerequisites that include EITHER EGR 104 - Applied Programming for Engineers - Stretch I (2 credits) OR permission of instructor.

Elective Courses

Complete 10 credits of the following:

1 Requires EGR 214 - Circuit Analysis I (3 credits) and MTH 302 - Linear Algebra and Differential Equations (4 credits) as prerequisites.

2 Requires CHM 125 - Principles of Chemistry I Lecture (3 credits)) and CHM 126 - Principles of Chemistry I Lab (1 credit), and either PHY 231 - Principles of Physics II (5 credits) or PHY 234 - Engineering Physics (4 credits) as prerequisites.

3 Requires EGR 209 - Mechanics and Machines (4 credits)) as prerequisite.
