MUS 309 - Music in Time of War
Course on the relationship between music and war. Students will learn about a variety of war-related music, including music for organizing soldiers, recruiting, propaganda, cultural outreach, raising morale, therapy, memorial, and expression of opinions about war. Fulfills Cultures - Global Perspectives. Fulfills Issues - Identity. Offered every semester. Prerequisites: Junior standing.
