GPY 327 - Place, Race and Ethnicity

Addresses place in the geographical context as relates to race/ethnicity in the U.S. Topics include geographies of race, ethnicity, class, and Latinx, Black, Asian, and Indigenous communities. Spatial patterns of segregation, wealth, health, pollution and food/water security will be explored. The course includes field trips. Offered winter semester. Fulfills General Education Cultures - U.S. Diversity. Fulfills Issues - Human Rights. Prerequisite: Junior standing.
