Analysis of the principles and processes of sedimentation and stratigraphy of clastic and carbonate rocks. Develop such skills as petrographic classification, correlation of stratigraphic units and interpretation of depositional environments. Includes a field trip. Offered winter semester. Prerequisite: GEO 112.
