ENG 307 - Teaching Writing: Elementary
A study of the writing process and of current theories of rhetoric, discourse analysis, language acquisition, and reading, all applied to teaching writing at the elementary level. A tutoring practicum may be required, and students will also work on their own writing. Should be taken prior to College of Education and Community Innovation admission. Offered fall and winter semesters. Prerequisites: Fulfillment of general education Foundations - Writing and sophomore standing.
