EDS 419 - Introduction to Teaching Students with an Emotional Impairment

The application of the theoretical principles that are the foundation of teaching practices for students with emotional and behavioral disorders. Research based teaching practices are applied through class assignments that involve student field placements, field interviews, data collection and direct observation. Prerequisites: Declaration of special education major and a B- or better required in the following: EDS 205, EDS 305, EDS 306, and EDS 332.
