CLA 250 - Classical Art and Archaeology

Survey of the art and archaeology of the classical world from the Bronze Age through the dissolution of the Roman Empire. Emphasis on the development of the characteristic forms of classical art, the aesthetic and historical contexts of specific works, and the techniques of classical archaeology that have revealed them. Fulfills Foundations - Arts. Offered winter semester. Prerequisite: WRT 150.
