Investigation of the physiology of bacteria. Analysis of bacterial growth, nutrition, responses to the environment, and metabolic processes. Techniques for analysis of bacterial physiology. Offered fall semester of odd-numbered years. Prerequisite: BMS 422 (may be taken concurrently).
