Healthcare Leadership Graduate Certificate
The Healthcare Leadership Graduate Certificate is designed for those newer to management in healthcare organizations. The certificate covers essential management content relevant to today's evolving healthcare sector, which functions differently than most industries. It is intended for clinicians who have gained administrative responsibilities, those promoted from administrative or staff positions into management, and those transferring their management experience from another industry to healthcare. While the certificate is not a graduate degree, courses taken for the certificate may be applied toward the Master of Health Administration.
It is expected the program will take 15-18 months to complete. Students working full-time should take 1 or 2 classes in a semester.
Admission
Applicants to the Healthcare Leadership Graduate Certificate must:
- Hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4 in the last two years of undergraduate work or an advanced degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.
- Submit official transcripts and an application essay.

- PNH 612 - Human Resources in Organizations
- PNH 632 - Health Services Financial Management
- PNH 635 - Hospital Organization and Management
