SPM 427 - Sports Budgeting and Finance
This course provides an exploration of financial principles as they apply to the sports industry. Financial structures of sports organizations, including revenue generation, budgeting, player and facility financing, and valuation of teams and franchises, are discussed. Topics include broadcasting rights, sponsorship deals, and financial risk management in sports. Offered all semesters. Prerequisites: BUS 201.
