SPM 326 - Governance and Legal Aspects of Sport
Introduction to the legal and regulatory framework governing the sports industry. Explores key legal issues including contracts, antitrust, labor relations, agency, intellectual property, and the role of governing bodies in sports. Examines current legal issues pertaining to athletes' rights, collective bargaining, and league rules and regulations. Offered every semester. Prerequisite: BUS 201.
