SOC 252 - Sociology of Drug Use and Abuse
Explores the use of, abuse of, and dependence on alcohol, tobacco, and other legal and illegal drugs. Analyzes the patterns, causes, social and legal consequences, and treatments of drug use, as well as the social dynamics behind drug policies, drug trafficking, and the war on drugs. Offered every semester.
