REL 210 - Pilgrimage: Sacred Spaces and Stories

Students will analyze pilgrimage "stories," specifically pilgrim memoirs and accounts, focusing on the evolution of pilgrimage centers, ceremonies, healing, and pilgrimage-related historical events. Through this literary examination, students will gain insights into the universal themes of religious travel, sacred places, and rituals while honing critical thinking skills. Offered winter semester.
