PT 684 - Advanced Topics: Sports Physical Therapy
Evidence-based study of examination, evaluation, and intervention related to sports physical therapy practice. Includes current approaches to management of sport-related injury and surgery for individuals engaged in sport across the lifespan. Emphasis will be placed on development of effective clinical judgement related to acute injury management and return-to-sport activities. Graded credit/no-credit. Offered winter semester. Prerequisite: Successful completion of all previously required courses in the D.P.T. curricular sequence or licensed as a physical therapist.
