PAS 583 - Evidence-based Medicine II

This is the second course in a series of three evidence-based medicine courses. Students will use concepts introduced in the first course and apply them to help solve clinical problems. Methods for appraising medical literature will be emphasized, with particular emphasis on infectious disease, eyes/ears/nose/throat (EENT), hematology, and cardiology. Offered winter semester. Prerequisite: Admission to the physician assistant studies program.
