NUR 782 - Risk Management & Health Promotion

This course develops students foundational knowledge to promote patient health and manage risks. Learners apply interdisciplinary theories and evidence-based strategies to assess wellness, implement preventive interventions, and culturally responsive care. Emphasis is on demonstrating proficiency in population-focused care models, conducting screenings, and integrating health promotion into clinical decision-making. Offered winter semester. Prerequisites: NUR 604, NUR 666.
