NUR 781 - Mental Health Core Concepts for Non-PMHNP APRNs

Prepares non-psychiatric-mental health advanced practice registered nurses to assess, manage, and collaborate in the care of mental health conditions. Students apply clinical judgment, advanced assessment, and evidence-based treatment strategies within integrated behavioral health models, emphasizing person-centered communication, professional accountability, and collaborative care. Not intended for students pursuing psychiatric-mental health tracks. Offered fall semesters. Prerequisites: NUR 602, NUR 603.
