NUR 349 - Obstetrics Nursing Simulation
This simulation course immerses students in realistic scenarios to apply obstetric nursing principles, including newborn care. It emphasizes family-centered care and effective communication, enabling students to strengthen care coordination skills, patient safety, and evidence-based practice. Students will develop clinical judgment and the ability to support obstetric patients and their families. Graded credit/no-credit. Offered fall and winter semesters. Prerequisite: NUR 319 or NUR 305. Corequisite: NUR 343.
