NUR 342 - Obstetrics Theory
This course provides a comprehensive foundation in obstetric nursing, emphasizing family-centered care and effective communication with obstetrical patients, newborns, and families. Students will learn principles of care coordination, team dynamics, patient safety, and evidence-based practice, fostering clinical judgment and professional maturity. Offered fall and winter semesters. Prerequisite: NUR 306 or NUR 310. Corequisites: NUR 343 and NUR 349.
