NUR 306 - Adult Nursing Theory

This course for the second-degree student emphasizes nursing knowledge, person-centered care, population health, quality and safety, systems, informatics, and professional development across the continuum of care. Evidence-based practice is developed while exploring health promotion and maintenance, chronic disease management, restorative care, and palliative care for adults with medical-surgical health conditions. Prerequisite: NUR 222. Corequisites: NUR 305 and NUR 307.
