NUR 224 - Health Assessment and Clinical Skills

This course introduces nursing skills, focusing on health assessment, health promotion, history-taking, and physical exams. Through hands-on lab experiences and clinical practice, students collaborate to develop communication skills, critical thinking, patient-centered care, and the ability to apply clinical reasoning necessary for safe and competent nursing practice. Offered fall and spring/summer semesters. Prerequisites: Admission into the Second Degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program.
