HCO 290 - Communication in Science, Environment, and Health

Investigates the role of communication in emerging issues at the intersection of science, environment, and health contexts. Topics may include climate change communication, communication used in environmental justice movements, arguments about distinguishing science from non-science, deficit models, public understanding of, and engagement with, science in health-related contexts. Offered Winter semester.
