HCC 501 - Introduction to Human Computer Interaction

Introduction to fundamental theories and concepts of human-computer interaction (HCI). Students will gain theoretical knowledge of and practical experience in human perception, cognition, and learning as relates to the design, implementation, and evaluation of interfaces. Topics covered include: usability evaluation, universal design, multisensory interfaces, mixed reality, and spatial displays. Offered fall and winter semesters.
