FIT 117 - Outdoor Climbing and Camping

This course introduces hands-on climbing activities of various styles. Students apply climbing and camping skills during a mandatory weekend trip. Instruction covers types of equipment and how to use it properly, safety, etiquette in the environment, trip planning and camp setup, and climbing/bouldering/rappelling. There is an additional course fee. Offered Fall semester. Graded credit/no-credit.
