ENG 334 - Critical Encounters with American Multicultural Literature for Children and Young Adults
An examination of American multicultural literature for children and young adults. Students will learn how to engage youth with this literature. Texts will be from any of the following American cultural groups: Native American, Asian American and Pacific Islander, African American, Latin American, and other immigrant populations and regional cultures. Fulfills Cultures - U.S. Diversity. Part of the Identity Issue. Prerequisites: Fulfillment of general education Foundations - Writing and junior standing.
