ENG 304 - Critical Encounters with International Literature for Children and Young Adults

A comparative study of international literature for children and young adults, published in English and in translation. Students will learn how to engage youth with this literature. Texts will be from any of these regions: Africa, Middle East, Asia, Latin America, Oceania, Canada, and Eastern/Western Europe. Fulfills Cultures - Global Perspectives. Part of the Globalization Issue. Prerequisites: Fulfillment of general education Foundations - Writing and junior standing.
