EGR 476 - Microgrids and Renewable Energy Systems

This course will explore the present and future of the power grid and its dependence on renewable energy. Students will learn how to model both the power grid and future microgrids as well as how to incorporate smart technology. Power fault and load flow analysis will also be discussed. Dual-listed with EGR 576. Offered winter semester. Prerequisites: EGR 330 and admitted to a B.S.E program.
