EGR 309 - Machine Design I
Shear and bending stresses in beams, beam deflections, buckling of columns, statically indeterminate beams, planar combined loading, triaxial stress and strain transformations, static failure theories, and fatigue failure theories. Offered winter and summer semesters. Prerequisites: Grade of C or better in EGR 209 and EGR 310 (may be taken concurrently).
