EDR 470 - ESL Teacher Internship, PK-12
Full-day clinical experience as a teacher intern in ESL settings, grades PK-12. Candidates will implement research-based strategies to teach and assess young, early adolescent, and secondary multilingual learners of English. Focus on creating culturally-responsive, developmentally-appropriate learning environments. Required internship seminar addresses differentiation, professional development, self-assessment, and reflection. Prerequisites: Successful completion of ENG 261, ENG 363, ENG 365, and ENG 465.
