CYB 475 - Wireless Networks and Security

This course provides an in-depth exploration of wireless networking technologies, architectures, protocols, and security mechanisms. Students will study the fundamental principles of wireless communications, various wireless standards (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 5G) and security vulnerabilities. The course will emphasize the challenges of securing wireless networks, addressing encryption, authentication, and intrusion detection strategies. Dual-listed with CYB 575. Prerequisite: CIS 337 or CIS 457.
