CJ 245 - Communities and Crime

This course will introduce students to classic and contemporary theories and research on neighborhoods and crime through exploration of urban environments, including housing segregation, urban growth and development, street gangs, community responses to crime, and other justice-related factors. Students will have the opportunity to engage in experiential learning. Offered every semester.
