SE 522 - Software Architecture and Design

Focuses on concepts, notations, and principles for software architecture and design: architecture vs design; modularity; component-based thinking; architecture styles and patterns; unified modeling language for modeling object-oriented systems; object-oriented design and development; use of design patterns for creating reusable designs. Dual-listed with SE 422. Prerequisite: Admission to the Master of Science in applied computer science, human-centered computing, or software engineering.
