ACC 642 - Analytics for Accounting Decision-Making and Controls
This course examines how information technology supports accounting systems, focusing on data generation, storage, analysis, and reporting. It strengthens skills in data preparation and visualization while reinforcing internal controls and governance. Students apply industry tools to interpret results and communicate insights that support ethical, effective decision-making. Offered Fall semester. Prerequisites: ACC 340 or equivalent and ACC 414/514 or equivalent.
