ACC 608 - Applied Forensic Accounting

This course develops a security-oriented accounting mindset by examining cybersecurity, forensic accounting, and fraud detection within the context of financial and accounting systems. Students analyze cyber risks, internal controls, breach response, and audit procedures, applying hands-on techniques to protect financial data, ensure compliance, and support effective financial statement investigations. Prerequisites: ACC 350 or equivalent.
