SW 628 - Trauma Treatment Theories and Interventions

This course explores the theories of trauma treatment and allows students to analyze and integrate evidence-based interventions for treating Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and other trauma-related disorders. Content includes the nervous system, diagnostic methodology, and secondary traumatic stress. Competencies include engaging, assessing, intervening, and evaluating trauma-impacted clients across the lifespan. Offered every semester.
