SOC 304 - Quantitative Methods in Sociology

In this course, students will apply quantitative research methods and statistical analysis to a social science research project. Working in teams, students create testable hypotheses, collect and/or analyze quantitative data, and interpret their findings through data visualizations and in writing. Offered fall and winter semesters. Prerequisites: STA 215, (either SOC 101 or SOC 105), and three additional credits in sociology.
