NUR 403 - Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical
This course utilizes psychiatric clinical site experiences to develop person-centered care, effective therapeutic communication, quality and safety standards, interprofessional collaboration, psychiatric nursing skills, and professionalism. Students will demonstrate clinical judgment to collaboratively plan and deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care while supporting a culture of safety. Graded credit/no-credit. Offered fall and winter semesters. Prerequisites: NUR 343 and NUR 347. Corequisite: NUR 406.
