ANT 332 - Historical Perspectives in Anthropology

Students will explore historical developments in anthropology, with a focus on issues such as cultural resources management, experimental archaeology, the dangers of pseudoscience, controversies in anthropology, and the contribution of anthropology to understanding major social issues. Students will examine the practice of anthropology from a historic perspective. Offered as needed. Prerequisite: Any 200-level Anthropology course or permission of the instructor.
