OST 744 - Advanced Occupational Therapy Practice: Birth to 3 years

This course will explore advanced topics related to children from birth to three years of age, including development, occupational engagement, limitations, family-centered implications, quality of life, community-based programs, assistive technologies, and impact of federal legislation. Also covered are ways to articulate and demonstrate our expertise in transitioning birth to three years of age development into occupational engagement in natural contexts. Offered fall and spring/summer semesters. Prerequisite: Admission to the Dr.O.T. program or consent of instructor.
