AFN 400 - Applied Medical Nutrition Therapy

Application of principles and techniques of nutrition care for patients. Includes practical application of evidence-based diets and menu editing for individuals in a variety of disease states. Nutrition screening, care planning for diagnosis and interventions, and evaluation for diseases are included in the course. Offered winter semester. Prerequisites: BMS 105, BMS 250, and BMS 251.
