WAT 532 - Advanced Aquatic Ecology

Knowledge of the processes occurring in aquatic ecosystems is required in order to understand their dynamic and vital role in the biosphere. This lecture-discussion course, with special emphasis on freshwater resources, will serve as a forum for learning about recent advances in aquatic ecology and its significance to Earth's ecosystems. Cross-listed with BIO 532. Offered fall semester of odd-numbered years. Prerequisite: Graduate standing in biology or permission of instructor.
