IDS 350 - Civil Discourse
This topical course familiarizes students with communication tools of civil discourse. Students analyze the role of discourse in solving social problems and learn dialogic strategies for constructively engaging with diverse perspectives. Using the civil discourse skills of reasoning and respect, students collaborate with people of divergent views. Topical information: gvsu.edu/civildiscourse/. Part of the Identity Issue.
