HPE 260 - Methods of Teaching Outdoor Pursuits

This course will prepare prospective teachers with the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to teach a variety of Outdoor Pursuits to Pre-K-12 students. Topics may include: navigation, survival skills, rock climbing, fishing, and snowshoeing. Cooperative learning and outdoor education curricular models will be featured throughout this course. Offered winter semester.
