SI 630 - Engaging Diversity through Social Innovation

Designed to reinforce students' ability to identify and critically evaluate structural inequalities, implicit values, and power relations across for-profit, non-profit, and governmental sectors that shape the communities with whom they are engaged. Includes discussion of theoretical frameworks for understanding equality/inequality as well as mechanisms for assessing inclusion and equity. Offered fall semester. Prerequisite: SI 600, or SI 610, or SI 620.
