SCI 319 - Science in Elementary Education
Students will create and present a lesson plan, test hands-on activities, develop a deeper understanding of physical science concepts, and explore classroom safety issues related to teaching science at the K-8 level. Scientific misconceptions commonly held by teachers and students will be discussed. Prerequisites: BIO 120, CHM 109 or CHM 201, PHY 200 or PHY 201, and GEO 201.
