EDI 312 - Child Guidance and Classroom Management

Emphasizes the knowledge, skills and dispositions needed for effective child guidance and classroom management. Develops understanding of child development, learning, human needs and diversity along with methods and strategies to create positive, caring and challenging learning environments that foster social/emotional, physical and academic success. Requires observation in the field. Offered fall and winter semesters. Prerequisites: PSY 305 and EDI 311.
