CHS 301 - Comparing Civilizations, China and Western

An in-depth comparative study of Chinese and Western civilizations into different understandings about key aspects of human life, such as what it means to be human, how should we learn, the role and structure of family, our relation to the environment, the meaning of authority, and fundamental values. Offered spring/summer semester.
