MUS 218 - World Music

An exploration of nonWestern music and western folk music. Develops listening skills and ability to describe musical sounds and structures. Introduces an ethnomusicological perspective that considers music in relation to other aspects of society and culture. Fulfills Foundations - Arts. Fulfills Cultures - World Perspectives. Offered fall and winter semesters.
