Examines Buddhism and major religious traditions of East Asia and their modern developments through historical perspectives. Explores the visions, values, and activities of people in India, Tibet, China and Japan, and how their religious traditions have shaped their life-experiences. Studies religious interactions among East Asian countries and their indigenous traits. Fulfills Cultures - World Perspectives. Part of the Identity Issue. Prerequisite: Junior standing.
